Position Overview Join Our Team as Director, Platform & Data Security Become an essential part of our dynamic technology team, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on security engineering leader to usher our Platform and Data Security initiatives. This leader will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data security strategy, along with endpoint and email security. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of security principles. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining critical security infrastructure and solutions to protect our organization's data, devices, and email systems. As a key member of the security leadership team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a security-first culture, aligning security efforts with business goals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. What You'll Bring to Zelis Required Experience: 12+ years of experience in Information Security with a focus on data security Experience leading a hybrid team of 5 or more direct reports in a player/coach capacity Experience mentoring and growing a security-focused team, while driving the strategy and execution of our data security roadmap Significant experience designing and implementing data security strategy and execution Experience designing and implementing email and endpoint security solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align security initiatives with business requirements Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends related to data security, endpoint protection, and email security Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree Experience managing an Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solution Understanding of network security concepts, such as next-gen firewalls and segmentation strategy and approaches Understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and how they impact business decisions Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging At Zelis, we champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of our operations.
