As part of the Payments Analytics team, you will work with a global team of world-class data scientists, business managers, product managers and engineers. What You'll Do Develop a deep understanding of Spotify's diverse payments landscape and associated data sources to gain insights into payments performance and identify optimisation opportunities. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Product Insights and Business Analytics teams to understand and drive strategic data initiatives. Enable a self-serve data environment in the Commerce Business team using data modelling and visualisation tools such as Looker, whilst supporting ad-hoc analysis requests where needed. Oversee the development and maintenance of the payments alerting system, ensuring that the Commerce Operations team are promptly informed of payments related incidents that require immediate attention. Monitor key performance indicators to track and report on payment performance, keeping the Commerce team informed with data-driven research on optimisation initiatives and challenges. Who You Are A minimum of 5 years experience in a data science role, preferably in at least one e-commerce or payments organisation. A background in Computer Science, Analytics Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or another quantitative field. Proficiency with Python or similar programming languages and associated data science packages. Proficiency in SQL (We use Google BigQuery). Experience with dashboard visualisation tools such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau or similar. A strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, effective in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders's expectations. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to measure the impact of initiatives and presenting those findings in coherent recommendations.
