IT Development Manager

Our websites are and What you will be doing: As an IT Applications and Development Manager, you will lead and mentor a talented team of software engineers. You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Responsibilities: Plan and implement enterprise applications and related integrations Design, develop, and architect solutions that deliver value to the organization Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications from selection/development and implementation to maintenance and upgrades Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering their professional growth Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives Automate release pipelines and testing to improve the quality of deliverables Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices Actively manage project timelines and resources Identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field Project Management Certification is a big plus 10+ years of experience in IT and software engineering roles 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role What you need: Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) Proven leadership and team management skills Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, MES) Experience with ERP integrations (EDI, ECommerce, etc) Experience with .Net C# and other object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.) Proficiency in DevOps management tools and code repositories (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, GitHub, etc) Understanding of web languages and frameworks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, BootStrap) Experience with SQL and SQL server (Oracle is a plus) Experience with test and QA automation tools Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) Knowledge of Cloud ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic) is a huge plus Manufacturing experience is a plus What's in it for you?
