As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented AMX/Crestron Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in programming, testing, commissioning, and support of audiovisual systems for a variety of industries. Role and Responsibilities Program, test, commission, and support Crestron / AMX control system code and graphics, both in the field and remotely via the internet Configure and adjust various DSP devices to work in conjunction with control systems Configure, test, and commission network encoders and decoders and their corresponding network switches Troubleshoot network issues pertaining to AV streaming and control Work with client IT personnel to integrate control system into their specific network environments Work with your peer programmers and Director of Programming to refine processes and structure for programming Work with a wide variety of graphical user interface schemes to suit various client needs Develop graphical "quick reference guides" (QRG) to aid in user training Conduct user training sessions as needed Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience programming Crestron Complete government and civilian background check, MVR review and a drug test. IT & Network setup and troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of RS232, RS422, RS485, & Telnet communications Friendly, flexible, and approachable communicator Desired Qualifications: BS/BA in computer science, computer systems engineering or similar relevant field Crestron Simpl#, C#, C++ programming experience AMX programming knowledge or certification (ACE) Knowledge of basic DSP setup, file loading, and 3rd party control Per RPM AVS' background check policy, all final candidates will be required to consent to a criminal background investigation.
