Role Description Warrior Group is expanding its service offerings and is seeking a highly skilled finance leader to build out and lead our Accounting and Controller Services divisions. This role is ideal for a CFO-level professional with deep technical accounting expertise and controller-level experience. The goal is to develop a scalable accounting segment that strengthens our ability to provide high-quality bookkeeping and controller services to our clients. As the Head of Accounting & Controller Services, you will be instrumental in: Leading and developing the accounting and controller functions, building scalable processes Establishing the bookkeeping and controller services platform Overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency Managing and optimizing AR/AP, bookkeeping, and automation-driven financial operations Implementing and overseeing financial systems and automation to streamline processes Providing strategic financial leadership, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting guidance Driving automation initiatives to improve efficiency in financial operations Collaborating with offshore and onshore accounting teams to ensure seamless service delivery This remote, contract-based role is best suited for a seasoned finance executive who can operate both strategically and tactically"”leading and executing at the controller level while also developing a robust accounting services business that strengthens our partnership with accounting firms. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in accounting, controller, and financial leadership roles CPA designation or strong technical accounting expertise required Extensive experience in financial planning, reporting, and compliance Strong ability to bridge technical accounting, controller-level execution, and CFO-level strategy Proven experience in building and scaling accounting service lines Familiarity with AR/AP automation, financial close automation, and technology-driven accounting solutions Experience managing multiple clients in a fractional CFO or consulting capacity is a plus Ready to Join Us?
