Bridge of Faith (BOF)

Bridge of Faith (BOF) empowers girls/women who have aged out of foster care or are facing homelessness. We provide a safe H.O.M.E. (Home Opportunity Meets Emancipation), emotional support, and teach life skills so they become emotionally stable, educated, and self-supporting women of purpose with their own voice. Volunteer in the Office Do you have office skills? Do you like organizing? We need volunteers to help behind the scenes. 55+, Adults Individuals On-site, Formal Weekdays We always need help in preparing and setting up during our events. As an Event Volunteer, you can help set up before or clean up after the event, help customers while they are shopping, greet people at the event, and much more. We are always looking for models for our annual fashion show. One-time, Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Volunteer at a HOME We need volunteers at the HOMEs to garden, do maintenance and repair, prepare a meal, or host workshops for the girls (anything from A to Z, Art to Zumba). Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) None, On-site, Formal, Skilled Volunteer at Up*Scale Collectibles We need volunteers to assist customers, do crafts, iron, organize merchandise, help with pricing and seasonal displays, clean, manage inventory & donations, and much more. 55+, Adults Individuals On-site, Formal How you help: Bridge of Faith operates with a large volunteer base. We need you and whatever you can do. About us: Bridge of Faith H.O.M.E. for emancipated foster youth originally started in the prison system with classes for inmates. We quickly realized the anguish of women whose children had been placed into the foster care system.
