SmartCOMM Lead Developer in Hartford, Connecticut Category: Software Development/ Engineering Position ID: J0225-0812 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description: CGI is looking for a talented SmartCOMM Lead Developer to help re-platform a large insurance company's document management system to SmartCOMM technology. This senior developer role involves working with the Smart Communications SaaS platform. This role can be based in either Hartford, CT, New Brunswick, NJ, New York, NY, Plymouth Meeting, PA, Cary, NC, or Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model. Your future duties and responsibilities: Analyze requirements and develop forms. Conduct unit testing and support end-to-end testing and business validation. Participate in meetings with stakeholders and clients. Coordinate daily with offshore team members and onsite lead/architect. Collaborate with the offshore team and client business stakeholders. Manage deliverables and consolidate form templates. Develop and document form designs and specifications, including usage rules, data mapping, variable logic, templates, styles, and layouts. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 5+ years of experience with SmartCOMM Cloud version. Integration knowledge, especially with Guidewire. Strong CCM development experience with excellent communication skills. Proficient in SmartCOMM modules: Projects, Design Templates, Layouts, Stylesets, Data Model, Script Library, Migrate Studio, CMS, Regression Studio, etc. Knowledge of Smart Communications Appliance Configuration and Deployment Models (Cloud). Experience generating interactive communications (Draft Editor). Familiarity with Smart Communication APIs. Skilled in preparing XML/JSON data schemas and mapping to business data objects. Expertise in creating static layouts for print and responsive layouts for web. Technical knowledge in creating batch configurations and output configurations for post-processing. Experience with Java/J2EE, APIs, and web services. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
