Base pay range $190,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr VP, Technical Recruitment at The Phoenix Group Our client, a fire protection service, is seeking a VP of Technology to join their team! Primary Responsibilities: Strategy & Innovation : Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with business goals. Conduct assessments, identify gaps, and drive innovation to enhance operational efficiency and gain a competitive edge. Technology & Application Management : Oversee systems architecture, software development, and network infrastructure. Manage the full application lifecycle, ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and timely delivery within budget. Address complex business challenges and optimize system performance. Stakeholder & Vendor Relations : Foster strong partnerships with business units and technology teams. Negotiate with senior leaders, communicate project updates, and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Manage vendor contracts, ensuring performance meets company standards. Compliance & Budgeting : Maintain IT budgets and ensure adherence to industry regulations and data protection measures. Collaborate with legal and cybersecurity teams to uphold compliance and quality assurance. Training & Leadership : Provide technical guidance in business-friendly terms. Oversee training programs, mentor employees, and ensure smooth adoption of new technologies. Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated leadership experience in Technology, Business Application Development, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Strong understanding of technological trends and their strategic applications. Proficiency in budgeting and business planning. Ability to perform in-depth technological analysis and research. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Effective communication and matrix management skills. High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
