Consulting, Principal Analyst Consulting, Principal Analyst Apply locations Stamford, CT time type Full time posted on Posted 2 Days Ago job requisition id 97461 What you'll do The Principal Analyst performs a critical analytical & knowledge component as part of a high-level project delivery team that executes contract optimization engagements. Utilizing your expertise in SAP products, licensing, and commercials, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial analysis and conceptual models to provide clients with logical scenarios and guidance to drive optimized costs and terms. You will also be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the practice: supporting knowledge management, training others, and working credibly and collaboratively with distant/international team members. What you'll need 5 to 8 years' experience within the field of SAP enterprise software licensing, contracting, and commercials. Specifically, an understanding of SAP corporate strategy, sales behaviors, go-to-market approach, products, use rights, and licensing is key to success in this role. Strong analytical skills, use of conceptual models, ability to recognize patterns while drawing and defending conclusions. Experience in areas such as cost modeling, risk mitigation, license/subscription optimization and cost reduction. Dynamic presentation skills and experience in presenting to clients at all levels (technical, procurement and C-Level executives), plus, the ability to "˜think outside the box' and respond effectively to questions. Experience simplifying complex licensing situations and commercial scenarios for all levels. Strong organizational & time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables & content for clients. Ability to analyze large volumes of data and produce logical conclusions. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems.
