Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Trusted Advisor to the Stars of the Tax World Henderson Harbor Tax was established in 2009 as a specialized tax placement division of Henderson Harbor Group. Over the past 16 years, HHTax has successfully leveraged our vast network of tax professionals and our targeted industry knowledge to successfully advise careers and place professionals at every level from Tax Associates to Chief Tax Officers, and Tax Partners, in both private industry and public accounting. We service our clients primarily in the New York Metro area, as well as nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada). One of our global clients in the New York Metro area is looking to add a Tax Senior to their tax team. The right candidate will be an integral part of the tax compliance and tax accounting process and become a key member within the finance department. Location: This is a hybrid position, NYC Metro area local candidates, only. Compensation: up to $115k + Bonus Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax compliance, provisions, including supporting workpapers Preparation of federal, state and local corporate and partnership tax returns Review and reconcile federal and E&P tax depreciation reports Assist in research and modelling of OECD Pillar 2 tax planning. Assist with coordination of tax payments for estimated taxes, extension payments, tax return payments, etc. Prepare taxable income projections Collaborate with members of global tax team and greater finance organization to ensure completeness of tax analyses Assist with income tax audits at the Federal and State level Take part in tax planning projects Special projects as needed Requirements: BS/BA degree in accounting or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years of experience Familiarity with technology and automation with a willingness to improve processes Strong skills in the Microsoft Office and/or the Google suite including the ability to prepare robust Excel models and the ability to learn new software platforms An attitude that champions collaboration, but also the ability to get the job done on your own when necessary Desire to drive constant improvement and perform with the best About our Process: We will notify you if you are selected as a candidate for this role.
