Tax Manager - Funds

Our client is a private equity investment firm. They seek a Tax Manager to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule, competitive salary, and unlimited PTO. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities Liaise with external tax accountants to file annual federal, state, and other returns Help prepare taxable income estimates and review tax distribution calculations Oversee financial statements, tax filings, estate plans, and special projects for HNW clients Provide support to transaction tax structure and fundraising review process Implement tax strategies aimed at minimizing tax liability for individuals and entities Work with lawyers, trustees, and accountants to execute directed strategies and initiatives Track investments, capital calls, distributions, and related financial activities Manage investment tracking software to support efficient financial management Assist with cash flow planning, portfolio allocation, and budgeting activities for individuals Review draft/final Schedule K-1s/tax returns for reporting accuracy before filing Requirements 2+ years of tax experience Public (Big 4) or Combo accounting background Able to multitask and meet deadlines CPA strongly preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
