The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads the League's organization-wide financial strategy and oversees the development of its operational and long-term capital budgets. LMC has a general fund budget of $15M and LMCIT's budget is $173M with an investment portfolio of approximately $625 million. Additionally, the CFO serves as the primary investment officer for an additional $2.7 billion in assets through the 4M Fund, which is an investment program that is sponsored by LMC for municipalities to participate in. The CFO reports to the Executive Director, serves on the LMC Leadership team, and oversees a department of ten.
