Job information: Functional title - VP, Human Resources Business Partner Department - Human Resources, COO Corporate level - Vice President Report to - Director, HR Business Partner US Location - New Jersey What you will be doing: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our organization. The HRBP will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategy with business goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in HR functions, who can effectively partner with leaders and employees to drive organizational performance, employee engagement, and cultural alignment. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic HR partner, collaborating with several client groups in a HRBP capacity, advising managers on both BAU and strategic people priorities; organizational and management issues and identifying ways to support business priorities through talent management initiatives. Provide guidance to managers and employees across the full end-to-end HR lifecycle activities, including talent management, training, compensation, and benefits, amongst others. Promote a continuous feedback culture within the business by implementing strategies which will enable line managers to effectively manage both high performance and underperformance, with a goal to develop and retain key talent across the organization. Provide support and guidance on organizational design, succession planning, talent reviews and career development as part of CLS's annual talent calendar. Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, in addition to local laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Participate in overseeing ER issues in the US region. Drive initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Partner with leadership to embed DEI principles into the company's talent practices. Partner with the business and Talent Acquisition team to encourage hiring managers to explore all sources of diverse talent, including internal mobility and referrals. Ensure local operational practices remain in line with best practice and local legislation, in collaboration with governance and legal partners. Work closely with centers of excellence (e.g., talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation, and benefits) to deliver tailored solutions for the business, acting as a conduit between employees and the broader HR function to address unique challenges and opportunities. What we are looking for: Proven experience in a HR Business Partner role, an empathetic and passionate strategic partner for 5-7 years, working proactively and collaboratively in a start-up/small company environment. Ability to create a partnership with teams that is people-centric and value-adding. Able to demonstrate a proactive, client-focused and "can do" approach to supporting the business. Ability to develop strong value-added relationships with all employees, including managers and senior leaders. Exemplify the core values of the organization, acting as an internal cultural leader. Enjoy working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Be a strong verbal and written communicator, effectively managing all stakeholder relationships. Data-oriented, results-driven professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Active listener with strong conflict resolution capabilities and critical thinking skills. Proven experience in workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional qualifications / certifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or Business) and/or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) are preferred.
