Online Advertisements Customer Program Manager (A123 Systems LLC; Novi, Michigan): The Customer Program Manager is responsible for defining and managing the technical, timing and budget of multiple projects while being the primary interface between customer and the internal engineering and management teams for manufacturer of lithium batteries. The Customer Program Manager reports to the Director of Sales and Business Development. Primary responsibilities include: managing global production programs and coordinating new business acquisition activities within international teams; owning customer communication for all program related topics as main point of contact; managing all internal and/or external customer deliverables; providing leadership to a matrixed, cross-functional team; conducting budgeting and piecing price targets; documenting and tracking compliance to customer's technical and commercial requirements along with developing solutions to address any/all identified gaps; developing and maintaining primary project timelines; providing regular project status reports to customer as well as internal senior management; co-leading development, sourcing and management of key suppliers; driving towards rapid identification and resolution of any and all engineering related performance, cost, and timing issues, regardless of where the issue originates (customer, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply base, etc.); providing inside sales support within an international organization with responsibility to determine and calculate labor, material, production cost, and profit margin. 15% domestic and international travel to visit client locations and A123 facilities. Minimum requirements: Master's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience with program management. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience with program management. Must have: 3 years of experience in Program Management and developing and installing process disciplines; 2 years of experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); 2 years of manufacturing and plant experience, practicing 6M methodology for innovative product groups; 2 years of experience managing and maintaining EDI system to assist proper production planning and management reporting; demonstrated ability working as an inside sales support within an international organization with responsibility to determine and calculate labor, material, production cost, and profit margin; demonstrated ability launching new programs in the high-tech material segment with utilizing Production Part Approval Process Standards (PPAP) and ERP/SAP systems; demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
