Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OHJob Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire / Hybrid About the Role Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, integrating cloud software products, and supporting both internal and customer hosting environments. You'll collaborate closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure optimal performance and scalability of applications. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines for Azure and on-premise environments to support efficient and reliable software releases. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage IaC tools such as Bicep Files, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud environments. Cloud Platform Management: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Automation: Streamline manual processes by automating system configurations, software installations, and patches across various environments. Monitoring & Logging: Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to maintain system performance and availability. Collaboration: Partner with software developers, QA teams, and IT administrators to ensure seamless integration and deployment workflows. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including encryption, access control, and vulnerability management, to ensure compliance with standards. Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve system incidents, outages, and performance issues. Provide on-call support as necessary. Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure, pipelines, and applications to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Travel: Be open to domestic and occasional international travel, estimated at approximately 20%. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 4+ years in a DevOps or related role. Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and IT systems. Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. Expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Bamboo. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or Ruby. Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible). Understanding of networking, load balancing, and firewall configurations. Additional Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience supporting and developing warehouse control systems (preferred). Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices. Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
