Title: Jr. Web Developer I Location: Houston, TX 77030 Type: 3 Months Contract with high chances of converting to Permanent Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Interfaces with department administrators in the content management of the department(s) Web site. POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides day-to-day management of a Web site(s) content to include creation, addition, and removal of information from the Web site(s). Keeps current on overall Web publishing technologies available for the creation and distribution of Web-based materials. Determines where files are placed on a Web site. Other duties as assigned. CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Basic skills in: HTML Graphic creation Graphics software Digital Equipment/Scanning Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) META data Web editing software Basic understanding of Web standards and user-centered design. MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year of Web development. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount to constantly to move objects.
