We are seeking a talented mid-level associate to join our Banking group in the Chicago office. Key Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents. Advise on UCC matters and general corporate law. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on a wide range of finance transactions. Provide strategic legal guidance on banking, lending, and financing issues. Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to business development efforts. Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school. 3-5 years of experience in finance and corporate law, ideally in a law firm setting. Solid experience with loan documents, UCC filings, and finance transactions. Exceptional academic credentials and law firm experience. Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. A proactive, client-focused approach to legal practice. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary ranging from $260,000 - $390,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
