Must be able to work in an Onsite/Hybrid role in Webster, Massachusetts ENTERPRISE MIDDLEWARE - Sr. Manager Company : Global Insurance CompanyPosition Type : Direct Placement JobLocation : Webster, MA - Hybrid role with 3-4 days ONSITE In this role you will lead, coach and develop a growing team of 6-9 engineers and architects who are part of the Architecture and Integration Group; responsible for enterprise middleware and integrations. You will be accountable for all aspects of related Development, Documentation, Support, and Reliability of the solutions built by the team and have a direct impact on project and growth objectives. With senior business and technical management, plan short and long term system strategy. Direct the research and acquisition of technical solutions and ensure project deadlines are met. Although the position is leadership-focused, we are looking for some past technical competencies in the delivery of distributed, high-uptime applications. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred. Experience: 7-9 years or Associates Degree equivalent plus 8 or more years Past technical experience in the delivery and support of distributed, high-uptime applications is preferred. A record of building effective work relationships and operating as a dependable team player. Proven experience managing technical teams and ability to manage group dynamics, facilitate effective team interaction, and negotiate effectively with customers, staff, and peers. Proven ability to plan, organize, and control a diverse workload in a highly dynamic environment which includes application development and problem resolution with root cause analysis. Ability to offer and entertain challenging ideas in a collaborative work environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, train and motivate staff to achieve individual, department, and company goals. Understanding of the business and technical elements of the property and casualty insurance business preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Experienced in estimating project work efforts and leading others in this activity. Ensures that teams are adhering and supporting quality procedures and policies. Champions continuous improvement in the design, development, and support of the portfolio.
