Junior and Mid-level Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation Associate Company name: BCG Attorney Search Experience: 1-6 yrs required Posted on: Jan 23, 2025 Valid Through: Feb 22, 2025 Job Overview: A well-established law firm is currently seeking junior and mid-level litigation associates to join a dynamic Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation Team. This team handles complex disputes surrounding private wealth, particularly in matters such as trusts, decedents' estates, conservatorships, and adult guardianships. The role offers exposure to high-stakes litigation with a focus on breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, estate mismanagement, and more. The position provides the opportunity for significant trial experience, client interaction, and the development of business within a specialized legal niche. Duties: Handle complex litigation cases involving fiduciary disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, financial elder abuse, and will/trust contests. Represent clients in disputes related to trusts, decedents' estates, conservatorships, and adult guardianships. Participate in trial work, with significant opportunities for courtroom experience. Collaborate with senior attorneys and engage directly with clients on sensitive and high-profile cases. Contribute to business development efforts in a niche and growing practice area. Requirements: 2-5 years of litigation experience. Trusts and estates litigation experience or familiarity with issues involving trusts, estates, conservatorships, and adult guardianships is beneficial, but not required. Admitted to the California State Bar. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active member of the California State Bar. Skills: Strong litigation and trial skills, including legal research, drafting, and advocacy. Experience managing complex legal matters, especially in a client-facing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Knowledge of fiduciary duty claims and related estate law is preferred.
