Senior Executive Recruiter at LHH (Accounting and Finance) The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to support the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders. Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems to streamline financial reporting processes. Lead or participate in special projects, such as process improvements, system implementations, or merger/acquisition activities, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
