This position is available in both New York and Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in M&A or private equity transactions and must submit a deal sheet as part of the application process. Location: Washington, D.C. Duties: Work on complex M&A and private equity transactions for a range of clients. Provide legal guidance on acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, and other corporate matters. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, term sheets, and other contracts. Collaborate with partners and other team members to manage all aspects of deal execution. Conduct due diligence, research, and analysis to support client transactions. Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal risks related to transactions. Requirements: Should have 4-7 years of experience. Strong background in M&A or private equity transactions. Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills. High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the New York State Bar or Washington, D.C. Bar (depending on location). Skills: Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong negotiation and transaction management skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. Client-focused approach with a high level of professionalism.
