Role Overview This isn't your typical Data Analyst role. We're looking for someone who can go beyond the numbers and become a strategic partner to the business. You'll engage with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand their needs, define a shared vision for data solutions, and proactively deliver insights that drive better decisions. As a Data Analyst, you'll own the end-to-end process of building data solutions - from gathering and modeling data to creating dashboards and reports that deliver actionable business insights. You'll also play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring our data tools and processes evolve to meet the changing needs of the business. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, ask the right questions, and turn data into a competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities Business Engagement & Vision Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data needs, define reporting requirements, and translate them into actionable insights. Act as a trusted partner to business units by proactively identifying opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain a vision for how data can be used to support key business objectives and inform strategic decisions. Contribute to the data roadmap, identifying and prioritizing key improvements to ensure continuous delivery of value. Data Analysis & Reporting Build and maintain data models that integrate internal and external data sources to provide comprehensive insights. Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that are user-friendly and actionable for business stakeholders. Conduct on-demand analysis to support strategic initiatives and answer key business questions. Champion data quality, consistency, and reliability through testing and validation processes. Continuous Improvement & Optimization Identify trends and patterns in the data that can inform business strategies and improve performance. Continuously optimize reporting processes to reduce latency, improve query efficiency, and manage costs. Evaluate and promote best-in-class tools and technologies to enhance data workflows and reporting capabilities. Monitor key business metrics to ensure data-driven decisions are based on accurate, timely, and relevant insights. What You'll Bring Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related field, with a track record of delivering impactful insights. Proactive mindset: You don't just wait for requests; you seek to understand business problems and propose solutions. Strong experience with SQL (preferably Snowflake or similar) and data visualization tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI. Python experience for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy) is a plus. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, backlog management, and iterative delivery. Ability to prioritize competing requests and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Nice to Have: Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation workflows. Experience working with AWS cloud technologies. Knowledge of API integrations and cloud automation. Understanding of business KPIs and how to build data models that drive performance insights.
