We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lead Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading full stack reporting solutions that are complex, scalable, and efficient using all data integration tools and technologies available. Responsibilities: Lead technical direction for projects that develop, adapt, maintain, and implement quality measures for federal programs. Mentor and support the professional growth of developers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and sharing best practices for development and design. Research best practices and support developing the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations. Identify and communicate scope, design, and development issues, and recommend potential solutions. Collaborate with internal or external clients to identify analytical requirements. Assist with the production of ad hoc data and reports. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in design and development of full stack reporting platforms, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or technical lead role. Strong command of SQL queries, JavaScript, TypeScript, including ReactJS and relevant frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle) and their data services. A hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in daily technical work. Skilled at debugging complex issues in large-scale systems. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions. B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Experience with AGILE/SAFe methodologies. Strong understanding of database concepts. Experience with mentoring and coaching junior developers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations.
