The Azure Cloud Developer will be an integral part of the Information Technology team, focusing on cloud development initiatives across Guy Carpenter. This role involves collaborating on various projects and crafting data solutions tailored to diverse business use cases. The developer will participate in solution and design discussions, utilizing cloud-based architecture and providing technical expertise throughout all project phases, including analysis, design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions. Skills Working knowledge of the Azure platform & Azure cloud native technologies Required: Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, SQL, Databricks Preferred: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, SharePoint, Okta Proficiency in JavaScript programming Familiarity with Agile methodologies/SCRUM Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub) Knowledge of Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing using tools like Postman, Fiddler, etc. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders Responsibilities Support cloud development across various projects Create data solutions for a range of business use cases Engage in solution and design discussions with a focus on cloud-based architecture Provide technical expertise in all project phases Implement cutting-edge cloud solutions Qualifications 3+ years of programming experience with JavaScript At least 2+ years of experience developing with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus Experience with Agile methodology/SCRUM Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub) 2+ years of experience in writing Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and queuing technologies Self-directed with the ability to work independently and make technical decisions Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate (preferred) Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant programming experience A strong background in developing with Azure technologies with at least 2 years of hands-on experience Proven ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
