Job Description Junior LAMP Stack Developer - onsite temporary position located in Saint Paul, MN. We plan to grow our team to accelerate and support our growth objectives. Nagios Enterprises is looking to hire one or more junior LAMP stack developers to join our team. Hires will assist our team by developing code on the frontend of our products (primarily in PHP and Javascript) and on the backend through integration of proprietary and Open Source packages that run at the command line level in Linux systems. Our ideal candidate will have a confident and self-starting attitude who will be able to pick projects up quickly and run with them! This will require excellent written and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment for cross-team collaboration. This is a six (6) month temporary position, with the option of continued full-time employment upon mutual agreement by both parties. Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00pm. This position will be fully onsite. Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota. Wage: $80k-$120k DOQ Required Skills 3+ years experience using one or more Linux distros 1+ years administering Linux systems, installing packages, and writing/modifying scripts 1+ years development experience in PHP or C/C++ 1+ years developing custom scripts and PHP applications 1+ years using Subversion or Git for version control Desired Skills Experience with using GitHub Experience with customizing Open Source scripts, applications, or web interface Experience with participating in Open Source and professional developer communities Experience creating documentation and/or video tutorials Experience giving technical presentations to semi-technical or non-technical users Multi-OS experience (Windows, Linux, and/or Mac) Home hobby projects that integrate hardware, operating system, and development that show your know-how #J-18808-Ljbffr
