CASHIER/SANDWICH SHOP TEAM MEMBER (Williamsburg Brooklyn and West Village)     compensation:   15/hr + tips for a $20/hr min hourly payment typical pay for this role is 20-24/hr employment type:   full-time job title:   Lead Cashier Edith's is a Sandwich shop and Deli known for making the best sandwiches in Brooklyn. We are looking for a Lead Cashier and Sandwich Maker. Principal Duties: Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers. Utilize the GREAT customer service and to ensure customer engagement. Must be midwest nice and ULTRA FRIENDLY! Goes above and beyond to give great customer service. Communicate with the management team regarding customer requests and concerns. Operate the cash register, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment. Maintain proper cash levels in register drawer and change machines. Follow Daily opening and Closing Checklist procedures Complete all store housekeeping functions (i.e., cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.). Stock and refill product in the register area, cold deli stations and coffee bar. Ensure coffee thermals are filled and working properly. Maintain front store cleanliness to DOH and Company Standard Bag Sandwiches and work the cash register for 500 orders a day Good under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment Interact with customers and delivery drivers always putting customer service first *WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST* 7:30am-3pm or 10am-6pm
