RESTAURANT MANAGERĀ Trapizzino, a highly-popular casual Roman restaurant concept, was created by one of Italy's most awarded pizza makers, Stefano Callegari, with locations in Rome, Florence, Milan and Turin. The first US location opened in New York City's Lower East Side in early 2017 to critical and guest acclaim. Drawing inspiration from the classic enotecas of Italy, this location has an expanded food menu, a natural wine list, and full bar. A successful candidate will have experience with restaurant operations and a desire to grow with an established concept. We are looking for a passionate individual with a love for food, Italian culinary traditions and a passion for great hospitality to join our NYC team. Responsibilities include: Day-to-day guest interaction during service, opening and closing Assisting with the operation of beverage program under the direction of the Beverage Director Ongoing Training and Development of front of house service staff Develop initiatives to build sales, profitability, raise guest counts and PPA Maintaining excellent restaurant hygiene conditions at all times Requirements: Food and beverage knowledge is a MUST. Experience with Italian cuisine and wine a plus. Knowledge of the Basic Italian vocabulary a plus. Experience developing and maintaining operating procedures within the food and beverage industry. Experience working with a commercial kitchen and the ability to oversee culinary projects. Experience in fast-paced restaurants, strong hospitality and service focus, operations and comfortable with repairs and maintenance. Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Manager in a fast paced environment or fine dining. Must have proficiency in excel, word and other office products. Must possess NYDOH Certification (Food Handler's Card)
