Over the past 16 years, HHTax has successfully leveraged our vast network of tax professionals and our targeted industry knowledge to successfully advise careers and place professionals at every level from Tax Associates to Chief Tax Officers, and Tax Partners, in both private industry and public accounting. We service our clients primarily in the New York Metro area, as well as nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).One of our global clients in the New York Metro area is looking to add aTax Seniorto their tax team. The right candidate will be an integral part of the tax compliance and tax accounting process and become a key member within the finance department.Location:This is a hybrid position, NYC Metro area local candidates, only.Compensation:up to $115k + BonusResponsibilities:Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax compliance, provisions, including supporting workpapersPreparation of federal, state and local corporate and partnership tax returnsReview and reconcile federal and E&P tax depreciation reportsAssist in research and modelling of OECD Pillar 2 tax planning.Assist with coordination of tax payments for estimated taxes, extension payments, tax return payments, etc.Prepare taxable income projectionsCollaborate with members of global tax team and greater finance organization to ensure completeness of tax analysesAssist with income tax audits at the Federal and State levelTake part in tax planning projectsSpecial projects as neededRequirements:BS/BA degree in accounting or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of experienceFamiliarity with technology and automation with a willingness to improve processesStrong skills in the Microsoft Office and/or the Google suite including the ability to prepare robust Excel models and the ability to learn new software platformsAn attitude that champions collaboration, but also the ability to get the job done on your own when necessaryDesire to drive constant improvement and perform with the bestAbout our Process:We will notify you if you are selected as a candidate for this role.
