You will assist with critical components including our release process, remote configuration management, and live production issues. You will lead entire projects from start to finish. While familiar with the high-level aspects of our project, you will also focus on and monitor the health of the team. You will seek out leadership opportunities to improve processes, doing so with finesse and a positive attitude. You will facilitate career growth amongst team members and are invested in the long-term success of the company.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 7+ years of production experience with Kotlin and/or the Android SDKProficiency with Reactive Programming and Dependency InjectionWell-versed in different architectural patterns (MVI/MVVM or equivalent)Pristine communication skills who can collaborate well across teamsPreferred Qualifications:Comfortable using common Android libraries such as Dagger 2 / Hilt, RxJava2, GroupieFamiliarity with Android TV / Amazon Fire TV developmentKnowledgeable about maintaining a large, modularized codebaseExperience using performance evaluation tools such as Android ProfilerYou write phenomenal code, tests, and documentationExperience resolving production issues ideally on a large scaleSuccessfully lead a project from start to finishExperience with: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Java, Android SDK, Dependency Injection, Gradle, Databases, Reactive paradigms, coroutines.Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $163,500.00 to $219,200.00 per year, in Glendale, CA and Santa Monica, CA is $149,300.00 to $200,200.00 per year, and in New York, NY is $156,300.00 to $209,600.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
