Contract: 6+ MonthsShift: 8am 4pm (Mon-Fri)Job Summary:Provides psychological services to patients, residents, consumers, students &/or inmatesProvides advice & consultation on psychological matters:Conducts psychological &/or neuropsychological evaluations/assessmentsAdministers, scores & interprets psychological testsReviews pre-admission or pre-treatment dataConducts interviews & writes evaluation reports & treatment plansEvaluates treatment plans developed & quality of service rendered by othersCoordinates psychological services & programsAssists with program development & conducts research on psychological assessment & treatmentMay act as lead worker over lower level psychological services staffConducts individual & group counseling & psychotherapy on various issuesFollows up on treatment & writes progress reportsConducts psychological evaluations &/or court order forensic evaluationsConducts suicide risk assessmentsDiffuses / de-escalates issues & role models positive behaviorsConducts ongoing assessments of inmates to identify, prevent &/or contain significant lethality risksProvides psychological services to offenders under Adult Parole Authority oversightCoordinates services between institution mental health services & local community providersCompletes re-entry accountability plans & conducts home visitsProvides specialized sex offender therapiesProvides psychological treatment in form of psycho-educational classes & group psychotherapyParticipates in treatment team functions & provides technical assistanceRecommends policies & procedures for patient assessment, evaluation & treatmentEvaluates defendants / patients for mental status, competence to stand trial &/or sanityWrites comprehensive forensic reports & recommendations for courtsAppears in court as expert witness on forensic / psychological mattersWrites discharge summaries & behavioral recommendationsPrepares statistical reports & graphs summarizing behavioral progressActs as liaison for offenders with various boards and staffServes as advisor on psychological matters for various groups and organizationsParticipates in staff development & in-service training programsServes on &/or chairs facility-wide committeesActs as consultant with various professionals and familiesParticipates in weekend coverage for evaluation of offenders on suicide watchRequirements:Psychologist LicenseCPR/BLSCovid vaccination card 22nd Healthcare LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer" and US Citizens & all other parties authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply."All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
