Travel RRT in New York

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Location : New York Type of Facility: Long-Term Care Facility Length of Assignment : 13 weeks Start Date : Immediately Work Schedule : 12 hour night shifts (7p - 7a) for 3 nights per week Roles and Responsibilities: - Perform ventilator checks and management for 20 ventilated adult patients - Administer respiratory medications as prescribed - Conduct tracheostomy tube changes - Perform bedside assessments and assist with ventilator weaning - Respond to emergency codes throughout the facility - Provide support for CPAP and BiPAP patients in other units as needed - Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR Requirements: - Active New York Respiratory Therapy license - RRT preferred, but CRTs will be considered - BLS certification required, ACLS preferred - Comfort with working independently - Experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care Barton Healthcare Staffing is excited to work with you Apply now to learn more about this exciting role.
