Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: MRI Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (Saturday, Sunday, Monday 19:00 - 07:30); every other holiday; no call Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, large hospital experience preferred (Level I or Level II Trauma desired) License: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility in Columbus, Ohio. - Radiology nurse support in MRI 24/7 available. - Experience with Siemens scanners preferred. - Familiarity with EPIC EMR system. - Ability to wear charcoal grey scrubs. Job Description: - Work in a 1,059-bed, level II trauma, teaching facility. - Operate Siemens Aera, Skyra, Vida, and Sola scanners, with designated equipment for outpatient and inpatient. - Handle a range of exams from cardiac to breasts to brains, including scanning pacemakers and implants/devices. - Collaborate with a team of over 12 techs on shifts and coordinate with radiology nurses. - Complete non-billable modules, averaging 12 hours, pre-start of the position. - Maintain compliance with background and travel policies. - Orientation includes 16 hours upon start.
