Title: Adjunct Faculty in FinanceDepartment: Office of the Dean - MTSMReports To: Assistant Dean Position Type: FacultyPosition Summary: The Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM) seeksAdjuncts to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in xxx. Adjunct instructorswill be given the learning objectives and requirements for each class assigned. MTSMoffers an Undergraduate degree in Business with Concentrations in AccountingSystems, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing and ManagementInformation Systems and an undergraduate degree in Financial Technology (FinTech).MTSM also offers graduate degrees including a Master in Business Administration,Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Data Science.Essential Functions: Successful candidates will be expected to develop and deliverlectures; prepare and grade assignments; Learn and use the learning managementsystem - Canvas. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class(i.e. office hours) as needed; Verify presence and submit grades to the Registrar at theend of the semester.Prerequisite Qualifications: Previous teaching experience; Master's degree from anaccredited institution in the area applicable to teaching area. Currently employed withduties related to the teaching subject area. Professional experience substantial induration and level of responsibility; Sustained academic or business related orprofessional engagement activities within the last 5 years. For those who have taughtany college-level course before you must submit teaching evaluations; all candidates atleast two reference letters are required. The letters should focus onteaching/presentation skills, domain knowledge and willingness to help others(students); and all candidates must include a personal statement.Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution in the areaapplicable to teaching area; Professional engagement activities which involveapplication of specialized knowledge.
