Dakar Nola is seeking a pastry cook to assist the Pastry Chef in preparing items for dinner service and events, while also helping Sous Chefs with food preparation. Qualifications: -Available to work morning shifts Tuesday-Saturday -Must have pastry experience and the ability to effortlessly follow recipes, demonstrated through a combination of work history and stage interview -Willingness to providing assistance to Sous Chefs as needed -Most importantly, have a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills! Responsibilities: - Scaling/mixing/shaping breads and crackers -Prepare mise en place for seasonal dessert course as instructed by Pastry Chef, including creams, cakes, cookies, sauces, tuiles, sorbets, ice creams and garnishes -Providing garde manger assistance as needed
