Breads Bakery is seeking a passionate, hospitality-minded individual with an exceptional eye for detail, knowledge of business financials, and ability to train and inspire a growing team. The successful candidate will have at least three years of management experience in a food service environment, specifically related to catering and events, with a proven commitment to service and unrelenting spirit to continuously improve. Functions and Expectations Recognize the importance of providing extraordinary customer service and exemplify this in interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers alike. Coordinate catering operations and manage the department at our flagship bakery and off-premise events when applicable. Communicate with all departments, bakery locations, and delivery personnel to ensure proper product inventory and quality are maintained for catering and wholesale orders- recognizing that every day presents varying needs and adjusting numbers accordingly. Utilize knowledge of the Breads Bakery catering menu to offer thoughtful suggestions to wholesale and catering clients. Maintain, refine, and grow the catering department's SOPs and operating systems. Explore new outlets and opportunities for both catering and wholesale while considering breadth of production. Collaborate with our PR and media team to plan and execute holiday and new product roll out. Perform daily administrative tasks including but not limited to staff scheduling, sales budgets for catering orders and wholesale, beverage and operating supply purchasing, analysis of sales, planning and implementation of strategies to increase sales, efficiency and customer retention, and so on. Spearhead holiday and featured menu pre-orders for all locations in collaboration with the Production Analyst, operations, and production teams. Facilitate research to reach new markets and obtain new clientele from untapped demographics. Govern service recovery as needed with professionalism and sincerity. Maintain records on any incidents and guest feedback, analyze trends, and strive to improve customer satisfaction to further increase client retention. Oversee staff throughout all shifts, delegate tasks as needed, ensure responsibilities are met and, when possible exceeded, facilitating and organizing new hire training, and coordinating department growth and development programs; foster a positive work environment and commitment to company's values. Plan and manage both on and off-premise events, including but not limited to menu development, oversight of rental needs, logistics, staffing coordination, and so on. Skills and Requirements Professional experience as a catering and wholesale manager, event coordinator, or relevant leadership role Background in hospitality and/or the food and beverage industry (>3-year experience preferred) Experience in CRM accounts specifically geared towards wholesale and catering clients Experience with G-Suite, Microsoft Office and Apple products Remarkable communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving aptitude, and ability to multitask Must work holidays and weekends Ability to work on your feet for a full shift Ability to lift 50+lbs during an 8-hour shift Necessary documentation to legally work in the United States Compensation and Benefits $85,000-105,000 Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available following waiting period Paid time off package Access to PLUM, commuter, financial wellness, fitness benefits, pet insurance, and more 50%-75% store discount If hired, you will be required to show proof of vaccination.
