Job Details Task Force Director of Food and Beverage Graduate Seattle Call Mom is an independent hospitality company that operates all of the food and beverage outlets at Graduate Seattle, which includes Mountaineering Club and Poindexter Coffee shop. In Los Angeles, they are known for their award-winning cocktail and gaming bar, The Spare Room at the Hollywood Roosevelt (which was awarded "Best Hotel Bar in America" by Tales of the Cocktail), Los Angeles icon Genghis Cohen on Fairfax, all-day cafe concept, Winsome, and La Dolce Vita, an acclaimed, upscale homage to the classic Italian-American restaurant. Overview This essential leadership role oversees all administrative and operations of the bar and restaurant spaces on this property. Working in conjunction with hotel management on-site and reporting to Call Mom leadership, the Food and Beverage Director sets the tone for the atmosphere of all outlets, and culture of the staff. Requirements and Strongly Preferred Skills 3-5 Years of FandB Managerial Experience; Hotel and Hospitality Experience; Purchasing Experience; Financial Forecasting Experience; Fluid in POS Systems; Staffing Experience; Operations Experience; FandB Account Management Experience; HR Experience; Tech Savvy Key Responsibilities Operations Oversees all FandB outlet managers, outlet and banquets chefs, and banquets managers/captains Approves and submits daily and bi-weekly payroll Upholds service standards"”from materials, repairs and equipment readiness to sanitation, ticket times, food quality, customer-facing review sites and overall customer satisfaction Liaises with Call Mom ownership with respect to outlet design aesthetics Finance Contributes to weekly profit and loss reviews, quarterly forecasting and budgets Analyzes and manages staffing and costs Creates and updates forecasts and budgets Monitors food and beverage costs Human Resources Upholds employee handbook guidelines including labor, employee protections, company policies, mission statement and company background Trains and develop staff Food and Beverage Account Management Establishes and maintains vendor relationships to leverage purchasing power in order to secure the lowest pricing possible Oversees and submits monthly beverage inventory with the support of bar manager and outlet GM.
