About the PositionWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Business Development – Mission Critical to lead and grow the company's presence in the mission-critical sector. This role will focus on expanding business opportunities within data centers, telecommunications facilities, and other mission-critical environments. The Director of Business Development will work closely with leadership teams to build relationships with key clients, identify new project opportunities, and drive the strategic direction of the business. Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities in the mission-critical sector, including data centers, telecommunications, and other high-tech infrastructure. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors. Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's goals and market trends. Lead proposals, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and expand the company’s client base. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from business development to project delivery. Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and risks. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction industry, with a focus on mission-critical facilities. Strong understanding of the mission-critical sector, including data centers, telecommunications facilities, and high-tech infrastructure. Proven track record of success in generating new business, negotiating contracts, and growing revenue. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
