Restaurant Yuu, a Michelin-starred French restaurant in Greenpoint, is seeking a Server to join our team. Our restaurant is located in front of McCarren Park, offering high-end French cuisine in a setting that boasts abundant natural scenery and plenty of sunlight. The server position at our restaurant is an extremely important role that requires meticulous service and advanced expertise. We welcome individuals who can provide unforgettable experiences for our guests and strive for excellence together with us. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of"¯ 5 years"¯of previous experience in a similar role. â–¼Essential job respondibilitie Being able to provide warm and heartfelt service to each and every guest, ensuring attention to detail and genuine hospitality throughout every step of their visit, from entry to departure. Having a deep understanding of the menu and the knowledge to accurately answer guests' questions, including explaining the origin of ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles, as well as recommending the best dishes and drinks. Being able to quickly recognize and respond to guests' needs and requests, utilizing both verbal and non-verbal communication effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other service personnel to ensure the smooth delivery of service. â–¼Work day Work 5 days a week Tuesday - Saturday â–¼Work hours 2pm - 11pm (Adjustable) â–¼About Hourly $16.5 ～　(Determined by experience) â–¼The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Self-motivated and a desire to learn and grow within the organization Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong sense of reliability Passionate and committed for the culinary field Demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail and strong work ethic Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and being respectful Previous experience of at least 5 years working in Fine Dining and/or Michelin starred establishments. â–¼ Additional Requirements: SSN (Legal Work Authorization in the United States) required.
