About Us: Shiraz Kitchen and Wine Bar offers a vibrant Persian-Mediterranean dining experience with an extensive selection of biodynamic and small-production wines. Our Chelsea location is known for its exceptional hospitality, small plates, and crafted cocktails. Role Overview: The AGM supports the GM in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high service standards. Responsibilities include staff supervision, customer engagement, financial oversight, and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in hiring, training, and managing restaurant staff. Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH. Maintain service standards and uphold restaurant policies. Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory. Address customer concerns and enhance the guest experience. Collaborate on marketing and promotional initiatives. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in restaurant management software and financial reporting. Ability to work nights and weekends. Knowledge of food safety and industry regulations. Health Department Certificate is required. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (5 days work week) Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; degree in Hospitality preferred. 3+ years of managerial experience in a similar setting.
