Cyclone Bagels is committed to creating artisanal, consistent, high-quality bagels for same-day production's inventory.Cyclone Bagels is looking for a Store Manager who will be responsible for making sure that the shop is set up for success every day. The Store Manager oversees every aspect of service, food quality and is responsible for maintaining labor schedules, service standards and guest relations. The responsibilities also include placing orders, assisting the staff when needed, and embracing a positive work environment.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Open and/or close the shopBe knowledgeable about all aspects of the menuMaintain POS system with all the updates (number of items, shortages, 86's items, etc)Daily walk through to inspect shop and report any issues to managerSupervise that all side work is completed before, during and after each barista shiftGreets guests entering and leaving the shopCompletes daily reports of sales, waste and completes recaps for the dayMaintain a clean and tidy work area and dining areas (indoor and outdoor)Ensure all displays are always full, tidy and with the correct signageAccurately process all cash and credit payments along with cash report and depositsEnsure all FOH and BOH equipment is cleaned and maintainedBe physically present in the café during service to ensure service standards are metGuide, direct and train FOH staff to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, and service standardsObserve the flow of service, providing assistance when necessary. Be aware of any bottlenecks or overwhelmed service areas and assist in real timeMake sure that all needed supplies are on the floor at all timesMaintain a healthy, happy and productive work environment for employees to foster loyalty and dedicationSalary:$70,000Position RequirementsBachelor degree, preferably in hospitality industry or similar. Professional with 2+ years of experience in management in a similar position and previously managed at least 4 employees. Be familiar with a POS system, Toast preferred. Be familiar with cash handling procedures (open/close registers). Able to multitask efficiently. Ability to listen and communicate effectively. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
