This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of transactional matters in a fast-paced and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in Natural Resource Law, Public Agency, Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and general counsel. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.Responsibilities:As a Transactional Attorney, you will be responsible for:1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements and contracts.2. Providing legal advice and guidance on natural resource law, public agency, real estate law, corporate law, and general counsel.3. Managing transactional projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and minimizing legal risks.4. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure all transactions are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.5. Identifying legal or contractual issues and developing new approaches to resolve complex issues.6. Providing training to the company and its affiliates on substantive legal topics.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you will need:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Transactional Attorney or similar role.3. Strong knowledge of Natural Resource Law, Public Agency, Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and general counsel.4. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful commercial agreements.5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.6. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.9.
