About Us: Castell's is a high-end kosher restaurant committed to exceptional service and top-tier hospitality. We are seeking a Restaurant Manager Assistant / Food and Beverage Assistant with a strong marketing background to support our management team in operations, reservations, and guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Manage reservations through Resy , maintain customer relationships, and oversee retention strategies. Handle high-level phone etiquette, including guest inquiries, VIP bookings, and customer communication. Support staffing management, shift scheduling, and operational organization. Work closely with the GM on inventory control, vendor relations, and purchasing. Monitor guest feedback, track trends, and enhance customer retention strategies. Utilize Excel (Advanced Level) for reporting, tracking, and operational analysis. Support marketing initiatives, including menu updates, social media coordination, and promotional efforts. Assist with event coordination, reservations for large parties, and overall guest experience management. Maintain high standards of organization, efficiency, and professionalism. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Analysis). Experience with Resy or similar reservation platforms. Strong phone and written communication skills. Knowledge of restaurant reservations, customer retention strategies, and guest experience management. Experience in staffing management and shift scheduling . Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Inventory management experience. A plus : Proficiency in InDesign and PowerPoint for marketing and presentation materials.
