Server Assistant

The Server Assistant  position at Café Zaffri plays a pivotal role in elevating the dining experience by supporting the wait staff and ensuring the restaurant areas are impeccably maintained and prepared for service. This dynamic position encompasses a range of responsibilities, from clearing and setting tables to anticipating guest needs and assisting with food preparation, all while upholding the high standards expected in a luxury setting. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently clear, clean, and set tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware with discretion and speed. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Assist in stocking linens, china, glassware, silverware, and food items; help with the preparation of items like toast, soup, or beverages. Support with the breakdown, cleaning, and organization of side stations and back-of-house areas. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment. Exceptional personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent time management abilities, with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to shifting demands. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly with guests. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
