Title:Assistant Professor: Natural Language ProcessingDepartment:Data ScienceReports To:Chair, Data SciencePosition Type:Faculty Position Summary: The Department of Data Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology(NJIT) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions starting inFall 2025, with an emphasis on Language Processing including LLMs, deep learning methods with text-only or multimodal data. Exceptionalcandidates in other areas will also be considered.Essential Functions: - Facultyare expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses for the Data ScienceDepartment.- Conduct research, participate in scholarly activities such as publishingpapers, presenting work at conferences, and obtaining funding; advise andsupport graduate, undergraduate and postdoctoral students.
