Title:CME Adjunct ProfessorDepartment:Chemical & Materials EngineeringReports To:The Department Chair Position Type:AdjunctPosition Summary:The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering has an ongoing need for Adjunct Professors to teach a variety of graduate courses in the area of Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Engineering.Essential Functions:Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments (if needed), and assess student learning. Learn and use online course management system - Canvas. Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.Prerequisite Qualifications:Ph.D. degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field such as Biomedical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering; At the university's discretion the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications: Industrial experience is an added advantage.
