Manager of Human Resources (Ag-Tech Robotics) - Greater Fresno Area, CA We are assisting a globally pioneering and established Ag-Tech robotics startup in their search for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their growing team in California. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and values. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management, a deep understanding of US employment laws, and a passion for driving organizational success through effective talent management and employee engagement initiatives. Work Model: Hybrid (minimum of two days per week in the office). Key Responsibilities: Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the company's objectives and promote a positive work culture. Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance. Lead the recruitment process by working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations. Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees are seamlessly integrated into the organization and equipped with the necessary tools and resources. Drive performance management processes, offering guidance and support to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, feedback, and development planning. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR-related matters, conflict resolution, and employee development initiatives. Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining competitive positioning. Stay up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and proactively address any potential risks or issues. Oversee employee engagement initiatives, organizing events, surveys, and programs designed to enhance morale, collaboration, and retention. Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data at all times. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in the robotics, software and hardware, semiconductors, or manufacturing R&D industries is highly desirable. Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations in California, Washington, and Iowa. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
