Who They Are Our client is an $80M division of the largest hot water heater manufacturer in the U.S., and because of a retirement, is looking for a Director of Engineering to oversee a team of 20 engineers, designers, and lab technicians in both sustaining their legacy products and bringing new products to market. What You'll Do Lead and manage the engineering department Oversee resources, staffing, and training of engineers, designers, and lab techs Develop and execute on-going plan for product cost/functional/quality improvement and value engineering initiatives What You'll Need BS in mechanical engineering 5+ years of experience directing a product engineering team Track record of successful project work in new technology adoption and product development Deep understanding of product marketing principles and market-driven engineering strategies Exceptional verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
