Location: Oak Ridge, TN Job Title: Field Representative Career Level From: Senior Associate Career Level To: Specialist Organization: Material Flow Optimization (51359526) Job Specialty: General Procurement What You'll Do Provide central point of Supply Chain coordination to ensure material, equipment and services are received on time to meet mission objectives. Serve as Subject Matter Expert on topics including inventory and procurement processes for required materials identified by various Operations groups. Compile and analyze data to understand usage patterns and build forecasting models to predict and improve material/service delivery. * Develops and manages the material and services assignment schedule to align with mission and program objectives * Implements the Material Management Plan with the end user team * Captures/analyzes data to support forecasting, tracking, reporting and acquisition strategy development * Compiles, develops, and analyzes data to generate reports for internal and customer visibility * Identifies and pursues potential process improvements * Identifies risks with part obsolescence and spares; develops/implements mitigation plans * Leads/facilitates the development and evaluation of technical documentation (Scope of Work, specifications, quality documents) for complete procurement packages and determines the most efficient acquisition strategy is executed * Sources goods and materials strategically to align with SCM AND customer goals/objectives * Support solicitation and award process to ensure accurate and timely delivery * Proactively works to improve delivery dates when material is needed urgently * Interfaces with receiving to ensure that materials clear quickly when received and are delivered according to the required on site dates * Initiates and manages return-to-vendor and warranty claim processes * Standardizes products and processes What You Can Expect * Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security * Top-notch, dedicated colleagues * Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization * Career advancement and professional development programs * Work-life balance fostered through flexible work options and wellness initiatives Minimum Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. * OR Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. * OR 10 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education Preferred Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of experience relevant to Supply Chain * OR, 10 years of Supply Chain experience * Excellent interpersonal skills: communicator, team builder, change agent * Ability to develop collaboration cross-functionally, team mentality * Ability to manage large volumes of data: tracking, configuration control, analysis * Follow up and follow through, process improvement, sense of ownership Why Y-12? Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination. This position may be categorized as a "designated position" identified by 10 C.F.R.
