About this job: Leads teams of math fellows who provide highly structured, small group instruction for students as part of the regular school day. Delivers professional development, conducts observations and provides feedback and weekly data meetings in the development of teams of fellows. Develops high performing teams of fellows who improve student outcomes in math with the goal of closing opportunity gap. What You'll Do: * Provides instructional coaching and development for math fellows; supports and evaluates the professional experiences of fellows for the improvement of student growth and achievement; and creates a culture of high academic expectations for all students. * Creates a high achieving culture connected to program and District mission, vision, and values; provides solutions for daily management issues; recognizes math fellows on a regular basis; and regularly collaborates with the core classroom teachers and school administration. * Supports fellows in the use of data to drive instruction and plan rigorous lessons, using multiple data points to identify strengths and areas for growth at particular school sites to facilitate change as needed. What You'll Need: * Bachelor's Degree required. * Master's Degree preferred. * 3+ years of experience as a classroom teacher and demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams of adults is strongly preferred. * Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. * Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. * Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
