This newly created position is part of Concord's strategic plan to expand this business area and drive new revenue streams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned licensing professional who has led worldwide consumer products and retail programs for premium brands.ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do:Oversee all global brand licensing initiatives and retail partnershipsDrive revenue growth through the expansion of the brands' licensing/consumer products business across key categories, including apparel, accessories, décor, toys, electronics, gaming, etc.Create multi-year business plan to maximize growth potential year-over-yearProvide leadership to the Licensing & Retail division with a focus on business development, strategy and planningIdentify, negotiate and execute domestic and international licenses in key territories including UK, Germany, France and LATAMConsistent evaluation of licensee's performance including sales reports, retail penetration and market shareManage and continue to strengthen relationships with KB and R&H's current/existing list of strategic licensing partnersManage existing Licensing Agencies/Consultants and act as day-to-day contact as we develop and launch the brands' consumer products programIdentify potential international licensing agenciesDevelop strategic plans, including budgets, forecasts and reportingTrack sales, revenue and royalties with Finance teamWork closely with Business & Legal Affairs team to help manage all contractsLocate and research prospective licensees, identify best partners and negotiate final contracts; perform analysis of potential new deals, proposals, business plans and revenue opportunitiesOptimize KIDZ BOP's growing DTC businessFurther develop key retail partnerships, including Amazon and mass retailersSpearhead execution of all partnerships, acting as day-to-day contact for all partnersWork collaboratively with marketing + design teams on the creation of relevant sales + partner pitch tools, including brand style guidesInternally communicate licensing plans and performance to align relevant teams behind the initiativesQualificationsWhat you'll need:Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of licensing/consumer products and retail experience with major brandsThe successful candidate is a highly organized, creative self-starterAbility to represent the KB + R&H brands exceptionally well to all external contacts + partnersProfessional, confident, positive, and calm demeanorMust have exceptional written and verbal communicationsAbility to think independently and create and develop ideas that lead to positive brand affinity amongst partners and consumersAbility to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problemsDomestic and International travelSalary Range: $130,000 - 145,000*This role has an anticpated start date of April 1st.*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.At Concord, we offer comprehensive medical and wellness benefits, generous time off, parental leave, charity match, paid time off for volunteering, and other fun company perks.
